This is the first extensive, evidence-based, clinical work covering the perioperative management of commonly performed and emerging RAS. Included inside are discussions of surgical procedures, preoperative evaluation, patient selection, common emergencies, complications, pain management and recovery (including same day surgery). There are also reviews of patient management, the basics of various procedures and techniques, useful patient care protocols, as well as an overview of the perioperative issues that are unique to any given RAS procedure.
